That's too cool! The comments are great! I was sitting there trying to figure out "what ran past" untill I realized the joke was on me---terminte mounds!  :knothead:    :knothead:

Looks like a great time even though the donkeys did not cooperate. Looks like ya'll got a limit of termite mounds.     Thanks for sharing .   :clapper:

Benny Nganabbarru

Thanks, fellows.

Ben: It wasn't termite mounds running past, it was three donkeys followed by a lone donkey. You can just see them in the photos.

Very fellas, top stuff.

Two questions for my fellow son's of ANZACs but:

A) Is smote a word &,
B) What is the taxidermy bill on a tree stump?

hahah...

Good stuff! I'm glad you made it safely! Dave and I stretched the legs this morning, and found a beaut little swampy creek. There was nothing on the swamps, but out in the burned-out open country, between two mobs and a loner, we saw thirty buffalo. One cow had a massive spread. We just have no idea when to expect them on the swamps. We've seen buffalo at swamps early in the morning, in the heat of the day, and in the evening. Good luck, mate!

Thanks, Al!

Yep, smite, smitten, smote... Just as Ben Maher wrote.

The good thing about these termite mounds is that after you've shot them, they don't go-off in the heat, so you've got plenty of time to pack them out; so much time, in fact, that I should get around to packing-out the ones I shot three years ago.

Go the ANZACs!
