I thought 40 was going to have a bad affect on me. But do you know what? I Elk hunted that year, put on more miles than ever, had more encounters than ever and took a fine bull on the last day of a seven day hunt. The best part.... was that the mountain I got him on was the last place my dad and I ever bowhunted together. What a birthday gift!

I hope 40 has a special surprise for you as well.

Thanks to everyone for sending well wishes to Mike on his 40th Birthday!!! I thought he'd be really surprised, but he didn't know, and slept most of the day (combination of working midnite shift and old age

) He laughed and said I need a more authentic name than Ohiorealtor to be on the "gang". HHHHMMMMM.
LPM- Thanks for sharing the touching story about your 40th. That was inspiring and speaks volumes about life and how good things come your way when you least expect it.
