Pictured are two new light versions of the Abowyer Javelina and Bone head. The Bone head light weighs 120 grains and has a 1 ¼" cut dia. The Javelina light weighs 140 grains with a 1 1/8" cut diameter. Both heads are available in right and left bevel cut. The heads will be listed on the Abowyer and A&H Archery site late next week. To purchase please call the shop @ 616-677-5850.

What he said and I'd like to see it in a screw on version too.  I hate adapters.
It's not about the kill but the experience.

The lights look nice, but I am still waiting for the screw-in models.

I think i read on one of the posts that abowyer is gonna start sellin heads with the inserts installed already. Anybody know if or when this is gonna happen. I'm thinkin bout orderin some and would rather just open em up and screw em in.  If not i will just have to order some inserts.

I have some of the light Javelina's and just like the rest of the ABowyer broadhead lineup, these are superb!! I'm also using the regular weights in several models.

I like using the inserts as I can vary weight according to shafts and spine being used. Plus I can align them to spin perfectly as the glue is setting..

IMO, the best on the market !

Wapiti Chaser

Just got some Brown Bears and can't wait to run one through a moose ! Does anybody sharpen the back edge/bevel ? Or should I leave the back edge as is ?

Bob,

Give Ron a call or e-mail (KME) [a.k.a. Sharpster].  He is a great resource.
