Is there already an article on aiming a recurve, without sights here?  I need some basic direction.  We are new to recurves.  Thanks for any help.  I'm new to the site, but I have read some great posts and thought I'd stick around awhile.

I would try the search feature here and also on the shooters forum.  Good luck bud.

G'day Scott! Check-out the "Masters of the Barebow" DVDs if you can. Cheers, Ben

Always good to have another hillbilly on board! You can learn loads here, for years to come. Sam.

Hello,

Aiming a recurve....?

I just draw, look at what I want to hit and release.

It's like throwing a baseball....do it enough times and it works!!      :D

Did someone say "Hillbilly"?

I'd second the suggestion for Masters of the barebow. I really appreciated taking in all the different styles and techniques.

Best advice is start with what feels comfortable and seems to work.  Small changes, only one at a time to find what actually works for you.

Most of all, keep it fun and don't put too much pressure on yourself.  That'll just make for a bad day !   ;)
Remember .... there really aren't any rules here.  :D
