Hi folks,
I've narrowed down the string I'd like to try out on my longbow (thanks George) but can't find the suggested sponsor.

I need a 450+ string made with 10 strands in the body and 16 strands in the loops. Who do you guys recommend? Also, does one measure the bow tip to tip or string notch to string notch?

Thanks,

Juan

All my strings have come from Chad Weaver at Chanpion Custom Bowstrings.  He carries 450+.  Contact him at chad@recurves.com.  He is very helpful.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Another vote for Chad.  And a great guy also.

Fro length, you should just be able to tell him the length marked on your bow and whether it's a longbow or recurve and he'll know how long to make it.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

3 tree strings are really great and they will make waht you need.
