I teach college level mathematics to high schoolers, single and multi-variable calculus. It is a great job and allows my wife of 5 years to stay home with our almost 3 year old son and soon to be one year old daughter. I teach year round, but I can be home by 3 PM any day that I want so I'm not complaining.

I did work with sheet metal and finsh carpentry  in the shipyards of south Louisiana.  Then went to work operating a sheetmetal shop and as a safety manager for a contractor at International paper.  I now work for International Paper in the shipping dept.  We take the bulk rolls off the line and put into the railcars or 18-wheelers.

As of tonight I am done with corrections. I got military orders for all of next month.

My 1st day of retirement is Oct.1 and I had leave scheduled starting tomorrow! In other words its time to get my uniforms ready to turn in and put on the Uncle Sam uniform again. I'm not complaining. I'll be double dippin' for a while. Time to build some bows!

During the school year I work as a high school teacher for behavior problem students.  I also supervise the weight room.

The summer finds me running the timber in the national forest working as lead wilderness instructor.  We run 21 day therapeutic outdoor wilderness expeditons for at risk youth, and adventure therapy programs.
