You may have already had the news, Arizona had a major rabies out-break.  The bull elk now have a funky growth on their racks and been ganging up on the cattle!! They are bullies you know. Send me your tag if you do not want to be a victim of these MONSTERS!!!

We must go beyond the textbooks, go out into the untrodden depths of the wilderness & travel & explore & tell the world the glories of our journey

This is the second time I have been pranked in 2 days.  Had a buddy of mine call and leave a message pretending to be with the AZFG stating that elk season had also been cancelled.  Not funny!  My wife heard the message first and didn't know it was him.  Kind of freaked her out.  I'm Arizona bound in 35 days.  I can't wait!

I was up in Alpine AZ over the 4th.  I have a bunch of pictures of that same group.  There were 18 bulls total.  We (my wife and I) saw over 50 bulls that weekend.

Victor, is this what you state troppers are doing now we have photo radar. LOL
To bad those boys stay in the middle of that pasture in the subdivision. I forgot did you get a tag this year.

Victor, I have been a victim of these monsters in the pasture at Mormon Lake. Yes, I have chased them halfway up Mormon Mt. It used to be fun, now I have to work at my elk hunting here in Colorado! Good luck if you are lucky enough to draw that AZ tag.

just prairie dogs & lizards, again!  I have a 7E archery deer but just hard to get excited about deer when you run into so many bigs bulls.  I will be fishing the Frying Pan around the 10th for a week, so I will have to stop by and visit your secret brookie stash. I normally take a bow with me but end up with a flyrod in hand. You were right, Sgt."R" took this at Mormon Lake.  I will try and get a picture of some real Monsters across the street tonight and post them here.  If they don't get run over they should be in the 390's. Those high $$ flowers makes big racks!!

this reminds me of going to mt saint helens and looking at heards of 50-60 bulls lying around...makes a guy wanna cry i tell ya
