Okay, here's the deal. Gene's new book is titled "Buckskin and Bone" with a subtitle of "Postgraduate Whitetails". My own new book will be titled "Once Upon a Tine". I'm looking for suggestions for a subtitle. The book is basically adventure stories compiled over fifty years of fanatic bowhunting. Over the years I've been charged by a cougar and had to shoot my way out; treed by grizz; had more than my share of hairy experiences with multiple close bear encounters/false charges; confrontations with world-class whitetails, elk, etc. etc. Since these will be presented in campfire-type story telling I was looking for an appropriate subtitle. As I said, all chapters are true hunting yarns, but if you read between the lines I think most readers will learn some philosophy and my personal hunting techniques. Campfire Memories and Campfire Reflections have already been used. The subtitle needs to be maybe six words or less. Whoever would like to take a shot at it is welcome to. I'll need this within the next few days. Whichever subtitle I choose will win one of the Limited Edition, personally signed, numbered and embossed copies of my new book. Have fun and thanks. BW
