I really like the Wensels although I don't own any of their videos ive seen some of their hunts and really enjoyed them. I know Primal Dreams isn't really a hunting based video as in not a lot of kills but I hear it shows a lot of wildlife and scenery which is great I think.

But for October Whitetails is this more hunting based with kills? I would like to see some entertainment education and ofcourse some good on screen kills. I know the kill isn't everything but I do love watching trad hunting. Could I get some reviews?

Bowhunting October Whitetails kinda started the Whitetail deer hunting video craze.As for Primal Dreams it is the best outdoor video production I have ever seen.I have not seen every hunting or outdoor video done in the last 25 years,BUT Primal Dreams is without a dought the #1 in my book and I personally spent more than $15,000.00 purchasing hunting videos over the years in 2 past Spt.Good stores I owned where I rented videos Bowhunting Oct Whitetails was in the top 10 all time rental in my store.
Primal Dreams won 3 telly awards which is like the Academy Awards of Video & DVD !!! Don;t miss out on a spectacular production that is for not only hunters,but non hunters as well.

primal dreams was awesome.  I have to admit I haven't seen bowhunting october whitetails.

I remember when I was a kid and "Bowhunting October Whitetails came out.  My Dad and Uncles would watch it over and over.  All my cousins would be outside playing and I'd stay in to watch it.  I've got a CD copy I watch periodically, but my uncle gave me the original copy of October Whitetails including the audio cassetts to go along with it.  It's priceless to me.  
Both are great and are the "standards" as far as I'm concerned.

You won't be sorry.  Oct. Whitetails is my alltime favorite hunting vid.  I need to order another Primal dreams because mine is being held hostage by a 4 year old fiture hunter that thainks he must watch it everyday.

Thanks for the encouragement im confident I made a good purchase. Gene and Barry seem like top shelf guys. I have Genes book "Hunting Rutting Whitetails" and its outstanding with some imrpessive bucks in it. Now its just a wait until they arrive. Hopefully 3Rivers Archery will ship fast lol.

Primal Dreams will help your inner being - if that makes any sense to you. I own it and would buy it again - plus you get to see Mike carry two deer over his shoulders - perfect ending -  priceless

Primal Dreams is by far the best outdoor/hunting video I have ever seen. When I am stressed after a tough day I watch it and it settles the nerves and takes you to a special place. Brings back memories of past hunts and hunting partners. A big thumbs up!

Both are the best of the best. October whitetails is my all time favorite and very informative.

Do they show good quality kills on October Whitetails 1 & 2?

Bowhunting October Whitetails is what started my infection of Traditional Archery. I own most of there books and movies. Primal Dreams is one of my favorites. The film quality is unreal. My Four year old daughter finds it also one of her favorites,many night she has fallen asleep enjoying it. Ed
