I am planning on coming hunting at newton lake the first of october and first week of november.  Would it be worth it to hunt the newton lake area or is there too much hunting pressure??

I used to live real close to there, the earlier in the season the better, during shotgun season you don't want to be anywhere near the woods.

I agree.  I will be up there when gun season isn't in, so i hope the pressure wont be too bad.
