im looking into ordering one and was wondering is there a big differance in the carbon and non-carbon recurves..thanks .

Not alot of diff.  Rick told me a couple years ago he just shoots the plain one. But some buys like the most speed possible... I think you'll gain 5-7 feet per second with the carbon....  Some want it some dont'...
