I traded into a Roy Hall Navajo II not too long ago. It's been my primary arrow slinger for the past month...I am impressed.
I've never heard of Roy Hall before, guess I live under a rock. I have a few other bows that I shoot so I wasn't really looking for something new, so I went with a trade for a new to me bow. I figured if I liked it, cool. If not, I'll save it for my son.
This bow rocks! Its very quiet and really casts and arrow out there. I haven't ran it across the chrony yet but who cares, if I wanted speed I shoot a bow with Training Wheels!!!    
The looks are nice also. I really like how the limbs fit in pockets and carries the lines of the bow. I really don't care for some bows that have really pretty risers and then it looks like the limbs are just put on after the fact and don't carry any curves or anything.
So who else has them and likes them? What are the dislikes?
I guess it doesn't really matter, I'm happy and thats really the most important thing right??

It shoots my new carbons that I've been playing with loaded with 18ga speaker wire. 145grn point for a total of 730grn arrow...should be sufficent for rabbits and such huh?

 

 

 

 

 

I owned a Roy Hall Apache that I got rid of.....now I regret it.  Mine was smooth, quick, and quiet.

I have a couple of friends who shoot Roy Hall's 64" 1pc. reflex/deflex longbows, I've shot both and they are very smooth drawing, stable bows. Each of them is I believe Bubinga riser/Bamboo veneers, very pretty and well made bows!

I have a Roy Hall Apache Great bow and Roy is a Great person.

Roy Hall bows are all fantastic and are really a reflection of the man who makes them. Roy is a superb individual and a fine Christian. Nuff said.

I have a 62" Cherokee and it is a sweet shooting bow.  I have medium sized hands and the grip fits me very well.

I have small hands and this bow fits me pretty well also.
I still like my Brackenbury and my old stand-by my Damon Howatt that was made in the early 70's...but this bow is really starting to grow on me.

Very well-built bows, excellent finish, good cast,very nice Bowyer.  What's not to like?!

A Roy Hall bow got me started. I was pistol shooting with some friends & they invited me over afterwards to try bow shooting. These guys are into it and there was maybe 15 fairly high end custom bows there to try. It just wasn't happening for me and I was about to say so and take my leave when they bring out this R.H. Apache, about 50# @ my draw length. Well, everything changed. That bow felt so good to draw and right away my arrows started grouping and I had the confidence to double my distance to the target (successfully). I got the owner in an arm lock and made him sell it to me right then and there. I've since added another Apache, a takedown, 65#. Same story and, as a bonus, those two bows shoot exactly the same. I can train with the lighter one, pick up the heavier one and put the arrows in the same exact place.
I've shot a lot of fairly high end custom bows since that day but I'm never shot one that felt as good as my two Roy Hall Apaches.

I got a buddy that has an apache. WOW. I want one I have shot it and it shoots great but. it has one of the most comfortable grips i have EVER held. SMOOOTH, QUITE, AND FAST

I've tried numerous times to change to recurves or "hot" longbows thinking that the most speed possible would make me happier.  I keep coming back to my 1pc Caddo.  It's almost silent, shoots through everything including BIG hogs, it's beautiful, and smmmoooooooovvvvv!  I love'em!

Believe that is the bow i used to own. Sure was a nice one!!!

I shot a Hall takedown longbow at Kalamazoo a couple of years ago and just about brought it home with me. Very very nice bows. Flint

Definately do yourself a favor and look him up. It really does shoot good. Everybody that I've let shoot this has liked it.

I had a Caddo longbow. Hall's bows are superbly finished and shoot incredibly well. The grip was too big for my stubby fingers, so I traded it but not due to the quality of the bow.

I absolutely love the way my Apache shoots On the it very first hunt it put down a 23 lb gobbler for me. we nicknamed it Bahati which in swahelee (spelling?) means 'lucky"
