After 3 years of Trad shooting I finally thought I had a good understanding about what I was doing.   :banghead:  I always thought I was using back tension correctly but I had a bad release and threw my hand away from my face. I finally figured out that if I draw another 3/4" and really use the back corner of my mouth as an anchor my groups shrink and my release is smooth and quiet. Only problem is now all my arrows are too short to shoot broadheads with, I tried yesterday and just as I get there I run out of shaft. I suppose all is not lost, the wife didn't seem too upset when I told her I'd have to build/buy more. Thanks for listening.

I had to do the same thing you did, i sold 27 arrows and ordered all new ones. My groups have never been tighter.
