Hi Folks!
Been a lurker for a while. Figured I should stick my nose in and say howdy as the info on this site helped immensely in leading to my first kill last night with stick and string.
58" Shrew Scout ( bought from a trad gang member)
53# @ 28"
Woodsman Broad head.
17 yards.
Not a good shot as I hit about 8 inches too far back and high but I got (very) lucky and it picked up the big artery running under the spine. Full pass thru.Good blood trail. Ran about 40 yards before piling up.

Now back to practice some more so as to hit em where I'm looking!   :D

None of us always hit where we are aiming. Don't beat yourself up over that. The beauty of this game is when that animal is coming in we never know for certain when we "Pull the trigger" whether we will actually get our hands on the prize or not.

You do need to read your trad gang members manual though. On page 143 section B-43.589 it states "When you take a critter and shoot harvest photos you MUST include your bow for all to enjoy."

You better straighten up or Terry will have to send out a blackball letter.

LOL, Great job, enjoy the pork and congrats

Thanks folks!
I promise I'll get the bow in the next picture!  :p
I dropped the bow off at the house on the way to the cleaning shed. Actually thought about going back to get it but the wife/photographer, patient as she is, wasn't thrilled with the idea of waiting any longer in the skeeters for me to run back to the house to grab the bow. Next time.....  ;)
Thanks again for the warm welcome!
