Im shootin a 44# longbow with around a 506gr. arrow with the tip im thinkin of switching from 160gr. magnus 1's to 165gr. ace if anybody has some feedback on ace broadheads throw it at me.

I may have no business responding on here because I have never shot a ace broadhead, but I would like to say that I have seen a lot of guys on here say they love STOS broadheads and I really like my Double bevel No Mercey.  I don't think you will go wrong what ever you do.  I am always paying attention to what people say about broadheads and keep that in mind when shopping for one.  Hope you don't mind me sharing my thoughts.

The only points I will buy from now on will be ACE heads. They have been around longer than most any broadhead on the market and they have quite a varied and worthy product line. I can get their heads wicked sharp with little effort. I like the fact that their heads come in different weights so you can have the same style head and adjust the weight. The owners were at Denton Hill one year I was there and had a full display of their product. Some of the nicest people I have talked with. I think their product is way under rated and should be in more quivers than they are. Check out their site.

Have shot & like all those mentioned & they're easy to sharpen. 5 grains will not make any difference. The older style Ace BH's are my favorite of the bunch.

I've been shooting Ace Standards since 2004. In that time I've taken an elk, a 200# boar hog, a bull moose, over a dozen whitetails and a bunch of small game. Never even a hint of a problem with any broadheads.

Not only are they pretty much bomb proof, they mount true without having to fight them, they sharpen easily and hold an excellent edge.

To be honest, I'd put the 160-grain Ace Standard up against anything in that weight range for overall quality and durability. And the price is great too -- about $20 for six.

I agree....You may pay more but ya' ain't gonna find no better.

Ace are the best two blade around in my book.

I really like the 160 standard also.Shot thru the scapula of a 800lbs bull elk a couple yrs ago @ 30yrds and stopped under the skin on the opposite side.Onnly thing,if you want to mount them on carbon or alums . Use the 5/16 adapters.

i like the build on the ace standard, and it's a proven twin blade with decades of kills.  i used ace standards down in el paso, killin' a few rabbits; the heads were mounted on woodies and they flew quite nice.  

personally, i only use woodsmans these dayze.

There are SOOOOO many good traditional heads. I find many things to praise in most product lines and few to criticize. Ace have worked very well for me and have a looong, and noble track record. The current product even comes with a good grind on the heads.

i love the ace heads on my cedars...they fly great and are an overall grewat head and the price is phenominal!  can't go wrong with them at all!  never got to shoot big game but shot alot of small game with them and they help up great.

maybe the best bang for the buck around ... i love ace head ... mount easy , fly great and sharpen up with a min of fuss. great prices and they are built like a tank !!!!
