Why is it so hard to find this bow. Is it such a good bow that no one get ride of them or is it they are so bad that no one buys them? I was able to shoot one of these bows and loved it. It was so smooth and fasted and i want to get one but dont feel like paying for a brand new one. so if you can help thank you.

My old man just bought one, but bought it straight from The Shop. Its indeed a very sweet bow, and being fairly new, I doubt that a lot of people have one.

I've heard that 3 Rivers can't keep the lighter poundages Swifts on their shelves. My dad bought one in a 45#, but it was the only 45# bow Bill had in the shop. He originally was looking at a Rio Bravo, but after Bill had him shoot the Swift, he couldn't leave without it.

When you finally get yourself one, you won't wanna let it go either!

I have a SR Swift 48# @ 28". Its the best perfomimg bow I have shot to date. I have 2 RER and 2 Black Widows, both are excellent bows and I really like them. Got a bunch of long bows that I really like to shoot and carry, but none of them shoot like my SR. You don't see them for sale because most won"t part with them; Just my opinion.....
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I have 4 Great Plains recurves. Two B model one piece bows, a take down SR Swift, and a new one piece anniversary swift model. They are all very nice bows.

Ya i was able to shoot one and ever since i have wanted one but dont really want to spend full price for one but then again if i had the money to pay full price i Probable would not care  :) .

A friend has two SR Swifts. I shot one and had to add "One Of These" to the bow rack.  I ended up buying Bill Foremans "Personal Black Hawk" SR Swift. 58" 56#@ 28".  I'm shooting it a lot and its an amazing bow...beautiful, fast and quiet too boot.  I can understsnd not seeing many used for sale.
I now have 3 of Bills bow including a B model 1 piece "Red River" and a t/d Long bow with 2 sets of limbs they are all fine quality bows, capable of fulfilling all of your hunting needs.  Spend the money for one....you will not regret it  :wavey:

I also fell in love with the Great Plains after I shot a B model at our club. I ordered a SR Swift in 45# and couldn't be more pleased. I think that the folks that have them want to keep em so you don't see many used ones for sale.
