Well it has finally happened. While I have removed fletching and dented shafts before I never managed to get a true Robin Hood, and this under less than ideal conditions.

It has been so hot and humid, or raining, here in southern Indiana I haven't been able to shoot in almost a week. I got bored with the movie I was watching so a bit before midnight tonight, don't have to go to work in the AM     , I set up a couple of electric lights, an electric fan and shot a few arrows.

I was shooting a 15 yards, a bit closer than my normal range, and drenched in sweat and during my last round this happened.

Darn, just bought those shafts a Cloverdale a couple of weeks ago. Think I'll cut the busted shaft off in front of the labeling and make a desk pen.

(Yes it was luck more than skill but I'm not telling.    :biglaugh:

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

Congrats.  Mount it on the wall.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I'm sorry for your loss.

That's the main reason I use the nock end weight adapters.  Not only can you add extra weight but in the event of that happening you only lose a nock and not a whole arrow

Great shot by the way.      I didn't mean to leave that off.  :notworthy:

Ahhh, the bittersweet of it all!   :goldtooth:
