Once again you guys have inspired me to try something new. I love the looks of spliced fletchings that match up with the crown and cresting. So, I gave it a try.

Thanks guys. I don't think I will be doing this for all the arrows I make...but it is fun to do once in awhile.

Now that had to take a lot of work. I know because I splice them sometimes. Those look great. Gary

Great job.Look awesome.

If you push the blade of the chopper into the quill of the feather before you chop them they won't come out like that in the front. That was driving me nuts chopping my own.

Vtmtnman, a couple of them came out that way. I thought I had the chopper down on the quill..? Must have lifted.

Hey Snag are those some of the arrows you're doing for the gang coming to Hood River for the Rod Jenkins seminar? Do you need my draw length and spine?  :bigsmyl:

Bjorn, yeah, I'll just whip out 9 doz. of these for us! LOL  No, those arrows will be a lot more basic and lighter in spine for our training bows. These arrows are 85# Acme POC.   :D
