These are the bows that I have made for me and my hunting buddy  to use this year in WY. They are osage with antelope sinew  and rawhide backing from antelope the two of us have taken over the last few years. They are 52 and 54" long and in the 50# range.

Oooooohhhhh! They's purdy! Are they a Holmgaard shape Mike? It's hard to tell from the pic.

very nice, when you figure out the photobucket thing it would be cool to see some strung profile pics.

Very nice, the antelope should just give up if they see those bows!

I spent a week back in Jan. with Ed and had a blast. We built bows all week long for 12-14 hours a day and never got tired of it. The form I used to make these is a copy of Ed's bush bow style. I then tiller them more plains style and shape the handles my style. The next ones I make I'm going down the limb a little farther with the width.
I shipped Jerry his bow today and he should have it there in WY by Thursday. I made the string for it and shot it in before I shipped it and it is as quite as any bow out there. I made the string out of Fast Flight and no silencers. I haven't told him that I shipped it so he will be surprised when the UPS man comes to his house.

Nothin wrong with that at all. Those Scotts are just Great folks to be around aint they.
