It was far too nice a day to be working so Mike (Arrow k9) and I decided it was better spent on the water.  The lake looked pretty good...



Our quarry was quick to show itself.  The white along the shore is splashing water.



It didn't take too long to connect!

Now thats awesome - now you need to catch one on a flyrod !!  Then its like bonefishin !!

That's why we call them Buckeye Bonefish!  I love flyfishing for carp.  They're just like bonefishing in a lot of ways.  We fish for them with 5 and 6 wts and flies very similar to bonefish patterns.   I must admit though, bowfishing is as much, if not more, fun than the flyrod!!  

Dang! I've got to get some bow fishing gear in time for next year!! That really looks like fun
