I'm trying to install some screw in adapters on my wooden arrows and for some reason, I can't get them to fit. One taper seems too long and narrow where the other is too short.

What's the secret trad gurus? I'm using 11/32 POC arrows and aluminum adapters.

Thanks!

Vig

That's funny... I just glued some aluminum adapters on about 15 minutes ago.  The type I'm using does not allow a "full" taper to be inserted without bottoming out.  My solution is to just taper the arrow about 1/2 an inch or so after they are cut to length.  The taper is the same, just not as long so it doesn't bottom out.

I hope this makes sense.
