Steel

I placed a order for a 56" 52lb@27" bocote A&H 1 piece alittle over a month back. I wish I had my hands on it so I could give you some feedback but its not my turn yet waiting sucks! I have some nice one piece bows to compare to Centaur's,Shrew's, and Morrison longbows. I really like all of them moved them over to my Keeper bow pile.

I own a three piece A&H and shot the new one piece at Kzoo back in Jan. The one piece shoots great but is much lighter in physical weight than the three piece, making it lighter than I care for.  I like some weight in the riser of a longbow so I'll stick with the three piece.

I shot a couple of the 1PC bows back in Jan......they seem to have much the same feel as the the 14'' 3pc, as far as draw cycle and vibration goes....only lighter in the hand.

I have 3 3 pc CX bows and 1 1 pc, with another on order. Aside from the actual grip it is hard to tell them apart. They are quiet, fast, smooth and easy on the eyes.

I'll looking at getting one myself. Good to hear that they are similar to the 3pc as they are awesome bows.

I have owned two three piece A&H great bows but never really like the grip, I have had a one piece for about two months and I love it, the grip is more like a long bow, kind of a low grip, it is very light, but I just put a four arrow quiver on it. It's just as fast as the three piece, but what I really found is it shoots right where you look, It's sweet

I just reid one and didn't care for it. But, I am more of a mild R/D type of guy.   BILL

I love the ACS Bows.  I just shot the 1 pc. last week for a few days.  Here is my comparison.

Over all the 3 pc. is still my favorite bow ever.

I like the one pc. grip better, and have talked to the guys at acs about making me a riser with the one pc. grip.

I also like that the 1 pc. isn't cut as far past center. I know that isn't the norm, but the 3 pc. is cut like 3/16 past center and i just don't care for it being so far. The 1 pc. is 1/8th and seems to work great.

The 1 pc. is a little lighter so that may suit some better than others.

They are both great bows, but for me the 1 pc. is an "A" and the 3 pc. is an (A++)

Both shoot fast and quiet. Very consistent bows...
Blessings,
Steve

Larry, the one bow guy, really, one Centaur and that is it, except for the second Centaur that is a little heavier for elk, and the ....
