I'll be visting in the Atlanta, Georgia area for about one month starting next week.  I've heard much about the pig hunting down there, but wanted some info from any tradgangers in the area.  Would it be worthwhile to bring my bow along?  How far would I have to travel to get to a place to hunt?  Thanks all.

I should mention that I'll be a little north of Atlanta in Woodstock.

Hey Ryan,

We're finished with pigs on public land since Turkey season closed a few days ago, and won't open up again I believe until squirrel season opens again in August. Post this down in the Georgia section though, and i'm sure someone might be able to give you more info.

Regards...Ken
