i'm having trouble getting a new batch of nocks glued on. to confuse the problem this is the first time i am using a kimsha quick stick, before that i used ferr-l-tite. the ferr-l-tite kept popping off in cold weather so i thought i'd try something else. using the kimsha works great on field points but when i am trying it on plastic nocks is as though the glue never hardens. i can pull the nocks rigth off after the glue has cooled, and the glue that is left behind when i do this is kind of tacky, any thoughts? what glue do you guys use for plastic nocks on wood shafts? thanks, Dan.

Killdeer

Not hot-melt!   :scared:

Depending on the finish on the arrow, I will use Duco, Fletch-Tite or superglue gel. Duco being the cheapest, that is my preference. Gorilla glue or the like would be good, too.

Give 'em the bird!

I'll make it three.... fletching cement or super glue gel (I have a preference for the super glue).

Save the hot melt for your field points, blunts and broadheads.

Duco.  $1 at Family Dollar.
What he said! I have never had a nock come off a wooden arrow that was'nt damaged from another arrow or a bad miss.

Hi Dan,  What ever you found to be compatable with your feathers and the finish on your wood arrows should be used with the nock. Chad
