Zbearclaw you stated you are shooting a 57# Pearson now. Just giving my 2 cents I would go down in weight with a Widow not up. A lighter Widow say 53 –55# will shoot harder and faster than the Pearson. But that's just my opinion......stabow
The best thing about owning a dog is that someone is happy when you come home.

Stabow, the BW rep told me the same thing.  I have always shot somewhere around #75 with a compound and have been shooting this old Pearson for a few months.  I shoot the Pearson relatively easy but will not always be the 30 year old I am now, so went with #55.

I am sure it will hit hard enough to do whatever I want it to, and if need be for my brown bear hunt, dream hunt, I can up the weight.

thanks
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

62" PSAV 50@28 drawing 27" BH 3/4" NP 3/4"

Arrows:
28.5" axis 500 275g heads 4x3" fletch wraps

28.5" 2016 145g heads 4x3" fletch wraps

28.5" Easton GG 500 175g heads 4x3" fletch wraps

28.5" 50/55 POC 160g heads 3x5" fletch crest

My bow liked the higher brace I use to shoot low brace height but the higher ones shoot to good lol. I have been shooting a 9 strand FF string and the bow shoots great with it quiet and quick!
