i have a post on here for arrow help,i am shooting beaman mfx 400 classics 30in long with a 75 grain insert and 125 tips and they seem to stiff. my question is would a fast flight srting help with this problem? sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but arrows are not cheap. also i have a hoyt gamemaster and i assume the stock string is not fast flight.
thanks

Only use a fast-flight string if Hoyt says you can, otherwise you risk serious damage to your bow.  I don't know if it will help with your arrow flight or not.  My guess would be that it won't.  Did you bare shaft tune one arrow first before cutting them all?
We do not rise to the occasion.  We fall to our level of training.

i still have 6 at full length only cut 1" off the other half.i thought they were flying ok but im just not happy with flight maybe im just being to picky.and yes i am bare shaft tuning.

Mike, if your bow will handle f.f. string material, yes it might. Also putting more upfront weight, to weaken spine, what do you say? Where in Illinois are you? Steve

A skinny d-97 string will help and quieten the bow some as well. The small strings work wonders with the gamemaster as far as noise goes.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

Bjorn

Ditto what James said. D97 6 strand for 50# bow.

frank bullitt i live in rockford.does anyone know if i can put a fast flight string on a gamemaster?

Indie

The gamemaster just doesn´t seem to perform very well with heavy arrows.
It prefers light target arrows.
If you try to put more weight up front you lose even more performance.

As far as I know, the gamemaster can be used with ff.

Good luck!

this has been my experience also.

the original gamemaster 1 came with d97 strings. so would assume the gamemasters all came with d97, or ff.
