I've looked in the how to's... I've looked in Pow Wow and I can't find a pattern to lace a leather grip on a longbow...

I'm looking for the type that resembles a baseball stitch... "the Ferret" used to have directions on his site and I redid a Ghost that I had using them, but that was years ago...

Any help?

Thanks!

it's a X stitch. zig zag one way then back the other way to make small X's down the stitch line.

Ask Apex Predator. I remember him having a "how to" at one time or another.

This link will get you instructions on how I do it.  I have changed my method slighty though, after someone made a great suggestion on here.  I will make a doubled loop side to side in the first two holes before starting to stitch down the grip.  It holds everything in place better at the start.
