ok i shoot a 140 grain magnus screw in broad head and sharpen them with the magnasharp.any other broadheads sharpen as easy as the magnus

Bowmania

Three blades always sharpen easier than two.  Just can't get them as sharp because the angle is limited buy the other blade.  Unless you use a snuffer tamer.

I'm not putting up with this guys shit and dogging me.

I find the Zwickey Eskimo to sharpen quickly but the softer steel on the Magnus makes them real easy to sharpen up.
"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.

The Stos is another one that sharpens real easy.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

SlowBowinMO

I'll second that, the STOS and Magnus heads are about as easy as it gets in a "sharpen yourself" broadhead.

If you want a razor sharp snuffer in no time, invest in the Snuffer Tamer.  You'll never regret it; and your search for "choice sharpening tools" will be over!!

where do you grt the snuffer tamer

selfbowyer

get a hold of Mike at the nocking point and he will set you up with a snuffer tamer. There are a couple of other sharpening devices that will sharpen two, three and four blades. I don't remember the name but it works as good as the snuffer tamer. Glenn

Out of the 20 types of broadheads I have floating around in my tackle box, Eclipse are the easiest to sharpen that I have found.

tarponnut

Magnus are very easy to sharpen with the magnusharp, and they have done great on hogs for me. For deer, I use a Snuffer and use the tool that 3 Rivers Archery
sells specifically for them.It takes awhile but they get extremely sharp.

mill baster file
wheat stone
leather strop

I get my snuffers shaving sharp and only takes about 20 minutes. that's w/ buffing the edge and doing a shave.

George D. Stout

I use an 8" mill bastard file on my Bear Razorheads...1964's.   I don't know what will sharpen easier than those old Bears.  Ribteks are fairly easy as well.  Whetstones will fine an edge, but I can get them shaving with just the file.
