Loggy Bayou Predator and Pred. Pro are 11#. Pretty impressive stands. I saw them on sale the other day for $70 and $80 respectfully.
If we're not supposed to eat animals ... how come they're made out of meat? ~anon

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Apex Predator

Where did you see those on sale?

I've got two API Baby Grands, which I really love, but they are a PITB to put up, and weigh around 15#.  I am leaning pretty hard towards something 10# or less.  The Loggy predator may be an option though.

I appreciate all the responses!

Not sure I am suppose to advertise non-sponsors.  Why don't you PM me.

just get a lone wolf and avoid the hassle. IMO they are the quietest, lightest, easiest to put up of any stand on the market. You will have it until you pass it on when you die. They are the best. I wouldn't hunt from any other stand. I have the climber and one of the small hang ons and I will never need another stand. The sticks attach nicely, they "nest" onto the portable. Hard to beat. You wouldn't shoot a second class bow, why not just get the best and be done with it? I got my portable on sale through some sportsman's magazine mail order thing and am glad I did.

Well, thanks to a fellow Tradganger, I just bought a Predator by Loggy Bayou.  It was a little heavier than I wanted at 11#, but has a huge, level adjustable platform, and an adjustable seat.  The best part is they are on sale for half price!

I have a stand I got from Cabelas many years ago, think it was made by Warren and Sweat? I don't think they are around anynmore but I would like to get another one of those.  It's like 6# and has to be 28" long.  I like it becuase it goes up real fast and quiet and is very light.  It uses 1 strap and wedges in when you fold dopwn the platform.
