Me and Joe went out bowfishing today, last year he had some good hits but not enough penetration to boat any fish. This year is a different story, he has put on some size and strength, he was using a Red Wing hunter 52" 43# @28. Joe made some amazing shots he hit 5 we boated three one was a 30 pound behemoth, that took us for quite a ride. I'm pretty proud of him. Tonight his buddy is spending the night so tomorrow we will introduce his friend to some Trad bowfishing.

Awesome fellas.Ive shot a mess of em the last week but none nearly that big.I took Noah one day but it didnt float his boat, he said he hates to kill em and not eat them.I have told him the whole spiel about how they eat native fish eggs and the rest of the anti carp propaganda and he says "They Didnt Ask To Be Brought Here And They Gotta Eat." Im very proud of him for voicing his convictions but man I wish he felt differently. Its some fine sport and I sure wish I could share it with him but I wont push it on him.Thankfully he feels a whole lot different about killing tasty animals.Hope Im not hijacking your thread but I had to whine to someone and you and Joe are the perfect shoulder to cry on as I know you 2 have a very similar relationship to Noah and I.Have fun you two, and congradulations on a fine trophy and finer memories.  :clapper:
