It looks cool, but I would think with side by side bleeders it would just grab and twist hide and such and really hurt its penetration! Todd

Actually, I think they would work quite well on whitetails.  Wish they made a heavier version.  100 grains aint much hardware.

NO thanx.  i'm calling this as obscene as a 24 point buck.  neither look natural or in context with what i call trad bowhunting.  i'd imagine this rocket launcher head would need to be kept carefully razor sharp, lest it'd defeat the purpose.  how many folks gonna be that careful keepin' all them dang blades sharp?

but, what the heck do i know, i'm still trying to kill my first hog.  thank goodness for wensel woodsmans. amen.

I agree looks like it would make a nice Turkey/small game head.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

SlowBowinMO

Very interesting head.  I've not tried this one, but my previous testing with other 6 blade heads suggested penetration can be dramatically reduced when you exceed 4 cutting blades.  Maybe this one would work better as it's a COC head.

Looks like sumthin' outta Edward Scissorhand's workshoppe.    :scared:

Er, I'll stick with more conventional sturdy hardware, thank you.

Looks like a good head, if they'd remove the bleeders and add some weight to it.

I was chatting with a guy tonight about them on another forum (he is a compound shooter). He just got some, and shot them after work. He says they are very sharp, and fly great for him. The bleeders are held in with some kind of "C" clip and are tight, no rattles. But the fact that they come off means you can sharpen this thing (I had my doubts looking at them on line). He shoots a set-up that is not fast compared to what some are capable of, in the 250ish range, they should do the trick alright on deer for him. He said they do hiss a little. Not bad though, like a slick trick if any of you have tried those.

Horne Shooter

Just give me a sharp two blade right behind the shoulder.  I like to call stuff like this boradhead "terminal tackle".

Isn't Carbon Express made over sea's???

Jeff Strubberg

Looks very flimsy to me.  Those bleeders can't have much support hanging off the sides of the ferrule like that.

It looks like a bad dude but I'd cut myself all to pieces trying to sharpen it!

I thought they'd be impossible to sharpen, but they do come apart.
Not that I'm endorsing, heck I never had them in my hands. But a sharp head in the right spot works. Just passing on some info from someone that has been straight with me.

LITTLEBIGMAN

I'll stick with my single blade thanks!
