I just recieved this pic from my Cousin back home in New York.  We were talking the other night and and archery came up. She got real excited and said she had a picture of our Grandfather and my Dad shooting a bow when he was little.  To say the least I was really pumped up and can not wait to get a print for my bow room wall.

That is a priceless contribution made to you and the family. Hang on to it.

That is really cool...very luck to have something like that.

After my grandmothers funeral last fall all of us sat around and looked at old photo's of hunting trips she had...it was nice.

A little family backround. My Father died when I was about a year old.  My Grandfather died shortly after , he just could not handle the loss of my dad.  When I was 14 years old I asked my Mother for a bow for my birthday with no prior knowledge of my fathers side of the family being involved with archery.  My Mothers jaw hit the ground and she walked around in a daze for a day or two. My 15th Birthday came and I got my first bear bow. She then sat me down and filled me in about my Fathers side of the family. I shot paper plates on straw bales for years and never stopped.  This pic is a piece of my past that  means alot to me.

What a great story, what did your Grand Father do for a living?  Arms like that he must worked hard. 15cents for the magazine, just one great picture. Thanks for sending to us.
