Its my 5th year of trad bowhunting, and have yet to take a big game animal.  I have missed a few, including a blond bear at 18 feet (long story).  Anyway pray for success, as bear and turkey are now open, and my wife is beginning to question what im actually doing with the bow.... :-)

I'm with ya brother, I'm on my 11th year eating tag soup , hopefully this is the year I eat venison instead!  Best of luck to you!    

Relax and it will happen, I think shooting 3D courses in front of people is like a pressure shot on a deer. Shoot a 3D course with a stranger and shoot under some pressure. Teach your mind to relax, deep breaths. I say a poem when I see a animal coming, Over the top, pick a spot, pull back slow and let her go. Works for me.

It will come, and will be sweet when it does.  Are you enjoying your hunting?  Enough said!

I really do enjoy it.  My rifle hunting buddies don't understand how I can keep doing that "stick thing".  They say this and miss a 150 yard shot with a rifle, out of the back of a truck, while listening to some stupid pop music.  lol

     I'm with you brother!! Still waiting but, enjoying every minute of it!
