Anybody shoot the CX predator II carbons? Braveheart has them pretty cheap, so I am thinking a little high FOC/aluminum footing project might be in order. For anyone who has experience with them, what was your impression? I normally shoot cedars or the CX heritage shafting, but the price is right on these for stumping/javelina/hog arrows. Thanks for you input.

I've been shooting them for about 2 months. The spine is .600. Excellent shafts and a good price. I bought mine from Harrelson Archery $54.99 includes nock, insert and field point.

I shoot them out of a a 45# Bob Lee.

Tradlongbow - what weight insert/point weight combo are you using?

Thanks to Braveheart Archery I have had a chance to test these shafts. They seem to be very forgiving and shoot well out of my MOAB and Hill. My MOAB is 55# at 27". The full length 45/60's shoot great. I have tested field tips from 100 grains to 300 grains. The shafts fly great with 175's through the 250's. The 200g seem to be more forgiving for bad releases. The dynamic spine calculator is right when it says the 200's-225's are the best for my set up. I don't know about durability. I figure I'd better be nice to the shafts since i don't own them.

I've been shooting these about 8 months, as I wanted to test them well before we offered them to customers.  They are good shafts, I carried them in the whitetail woods last fall with confidence but did not get a shot.

The only one I managed to break occurred when I was foolishly trying to force an improper insert into one.
