Sorry,I probobly missed it somewhere.Where can I lay my hands on some of these inserts?

in all of your shooting have you done it with bareshafts.when you add weight up front it weakens the spine.i shoot 2016's.are you saying that they will fly the same with the added 100grains upfront?

see, If it's like the carbons, the heavier insert is longer, therefore it stiffens more of the end of the shaft. So, you're actually shortening the working/flexing portion of the shaft. If the heavier insert is 1/2" longer than the standard insert, then you have just shortened the flexing portion of the arrow by 1/2". Adding more point weight is adding weight in front of the shaft which does not affect the working/flexing lenght, but does affect the spine.

Dwight, if you add weight up front it always makes the spine of any arrow weaker. But when I added them my 2016's flew the same or even a little better. These were just my findings. My arrow could have been a touch stiff to begin with. Tim Fishell (the other guy that tested these inserts) found the same as I did. You may or may not have the same outcome.

I can tell you they definitely will be in every aluminum I ever shoot again though.
