just recieved a 10 strand d97 from 3 tree strings... looks to be a very nice string and good quality....

here is where im stumped... i have the correct length string..because when i originally strung my bow i was about 1/2" off of desired braceheight..so i just needed to twist to shorten and raise braceheight 1/2"....

so heres the question...something is out of whack... it seems as when you twist it the twists should be uniform for the whole lenth of the string...this string seems to loosen(twists get wider apart) from loop to serving and tighten from the other loop(opposite end) to serving..(twists get tighter)  I hope this makes sense..ive had lots of strings and never seen one do this ...any tips?

its almost as if you need to twist or untwist evenly from both ends to have uniform twist throughout the string... sorry if this is hard to understand but somethings goofy.

I think the only way that could happen is if they are twisted in opposite directions at each end.

if this was true id have to twist in the same direction from both ends to get my desired braceheight and have uniform twists?

I don't thing its possible to twist it in a opposite directions as the string is twisted before the serving is put on. I would string up the bow and let it stretch first the try to adjust the length.
