I was just wandering if anyone else has seen the F15 broadhead by CX and if you think the extra bleeder blade is a plus or will it take away fron penetration.

Anytime you add a bleeder to a broadhead it will increase resistance and thus reduce penetration.  If you add two bleeders it will increase even more resistance.  dino

At 100 grains weight, with 2 bleeders, I am wondering just how much material strength is in the main blade.

It is very difficult to build a strong and light weight broadhead.

I have only seen pictures of them, so its just a personal opinion, but with broadheads, Im more impressed with function than with form.

Looking cool doesn't make them deadly.
Three things you cant take back, time past, harsh words and a well sped arrow

Ah the penetration vs. large cutting surface questions.
I think with deer, and deer sized game (and smaller)they will be deadly. I would hestitate to use them on anything larger.
That being said, there was another post on this very broadhead a while back...if I recall, the yays and nays were about the same in number.

thanks guys i haven't had any experience with them either but i have to agree with outback function over form

Killdeer

What happens if they strike at an angle? Could one bleeder's resistance turn the blade like a backstroke on a canoe paddle?

Very rare to have the blade enter an animal straight-on broadside.

Buy one for your collection....they won't be around more than a few years.  Hunt with a proven model.  It's not like we don't already have plenty of options.
