Here's a targets I like.  If y'all want to use it we can.  If you print it from here it come out the size of a tweety bird or I can send you the .pdf version which fills a whole letter size sheet of paper.

 

What is the yardage/situation for the shot?

my shot is 15 yards.  you stand up.  hang a ping pong ball by fishing line in front of a backstop.  You get 2 arrows and you need to stick the arrow through it not nic-it.

This is gonna be a good one!  I have to go buy a ping pong ball sometime this week.

18Apr09: Closest to hitting bottle cap at 15 yds
25Apr09: Best 3 shot group from 20 yds. kneeling
02May09: Hit a match stick at 60 yds/30 yds
09May09: Vitals shot from a sitting position at 17 yds
16May09: 16 yds, 3 arrows inside an empty TP roll, any position
23May09: 15 yds/2 arrows/standing/arrow through ping pong ball hanging from fishing line

I have hit lifesavers doing the same thing. A ping pong ball should be no problem......right?   :rolleyes:

Well here's my entry for this week.





I don't think I'll be able to puncture the ball though.  I hit it well on three different shots and it bounced to the side.  It might because I have bullet points and their not sharp and narrow.  I'll try broadheads and blunts next.

Hey VA Bowbender, I couldn't help but notice you were shooting both three and four fletched arrows, which do you like better/is there any difference?

Can't wait to do this shoot, have to find something to use or go get some ping pong balls.

I don't see any appreciable difference between 3 and 4 fletch.  With 4 you don't have to worry about cock feather location.
