There's been a number of posts about skinny strings. I want to stay with B50. What is the lowest number of strings I should use on a 55#@27" hybrid bow?
He (Jesus Christ) is before all things, and in Him all things hold together (Col. 1:17).

Moab - 64", 55@27"
Hill Cheetah - 66", 58@28"

I've been using 12 strands of B50 for years in that weight when I was told to use 14 or 16. I honestly think you could go 10 but thats MY OPINION I just like the diameter of 12.I make endless loops strings for my homemade recurves and only serve the loops enough to get off the limbs and center serve just enough for my tab! The extra weight does make a difference you can see by shooting bare shafts.
Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!

I use 14 strands of B50 up to 60# bows and have used 12 strands or B50 for under 50# bows.

Yes Pastor, what LC says, you shouldn't have any problems with 12 strands. Good shootin, Steve
