Sounds like a great crew.    :smileystooges:   You're up for some great times, wish I was going along.  I guess I'll have to settle for the stories this year, tho.  Sure to be some great ones.     :campfire:

Last year we had a bunch from eastern Mass and those who flew into Boston spend the afternoon and dinner at my house before meeting up with the western Mass gang in New Hampshire.  Same invitation is open this year and I'll try to have both eyes open  :)

Anyone who is planning on flying into Boston, we'll arrange pick ups, transportation, sleeping accommodations on return trip...Doc

Hey Doc,

Are those the knives you'll be giving away for the biggest, smallest, ugliest and baldest bear? (I thought maybe we could have like a "bearhunt Goldilocks" this year or something)! Might be the only way I could win-I definitely shot the ugliest one once-had enough fur left for a coaster!    :biglaugh:    Your knives are beauties!

Doc I got the old A.L.I.C.E pack loaded and ready.I will be hitch hiking Seattle's intersate I-90 east bound about noon with a sign reading Boston or Bust. You'll know its me as I will be the only somewhat homeless looking guy wearing a back quiver and carring a braced up 1959 Bear Kodiak on said interstate.
Man I hope I make it before you guy's lieve for La Tuque.
Don't punish me here Doc and make sure you bring those little sweethearts with you when we head north.I love your design on the 2nd one down.Thats a good looking blade there Doc...see ya soon my brother.....bd

Grant Young

Hey Bowdoc- Can you carry that thing outside a case in Washington? Already packed once and trying to fine-tune it. Stuff left to get, but not much. Hey Curveman- drop me a line and we'll get a couple things together. I really need this trip; C'mon June!

Matt,  I sorry you won't be with us this spring as I have a little tribute to Stubby  :D    When Matt dressed out Stubby, I cleaned up his stub paw  :scared:  to see how he actually healed up from probably getting his paw caught in a snare...common practice in Canada as bears are considered vermin.  He formed a complete and useful callus on the end of his radius & ulna bones.  Obviously he did quite well that is until he ran into Matt's arrow!!!  I gave Matt the larger callused bone and kept the smaller ulna.

I was really impressed with how well Stubby not only survived but became a very impressive dominate bear.  Anyway part of him will be back in La Tuque this spring.

Not finished but I think this blade will come out nicely with Stubby's callus bone handle...Doc
