I never pass the chance to take a crack at a coyote.  I called this one in by kissing the palm of my hand.  He jumped up on a log about 15 yds from my stand and I promptly shot him off it.  I've shot a number of coyotes by calling this way while deer hunting.

I'ts been a while since I tried posting a picture so I was playing around with this one and thought .....What the heck someone might get a kick out of it.

Nice coyote.  Those buggars are pretty wary in my neck of the woods.  Haven't seen too many while on deer stand, and haven't had a shot at one in quite some time.  Congrats.

Good job. Songdogs are a tough target for a bow. I got one several; well, okay, many years ago in a similar manner that you used (the old kissing the back of my hand method).  Nice picture and nice trophy.

A trophy for sure.

Kissing the palm of the hand eh!? Never heard of that one. I'll have to give it a try. Your proof that it works. Nice brush wolf

Nice, I love hunting yotes with a bow.
Taking the squeaker out of a dog toy and putting that in your mouth works well too, plus you don't have to move.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

Nice job.  I think yotes are one of hardest critters to take with a bow and arrow.  They have the ears and nose of a whitetail, eyes like a turkey, and never seem to hold still for very long.

Nice shooting and great photo. Thanks for sharing. I don't see too many 'yotes in my neighborhood but, we got more over toward the eastern side.

Yep... around these parts they are jumpier than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

Good Job
