Brian I know what you mean I have hunted places I was scared to death to put out a decoy because you know someone will probably shoot it. But dont give up ,down here the turkeys have broke up and the gobblers are moving more and calling better. good luck.

Well wasn't planning on going after turkeys today.  The boy and I went to a nearby conservation area where I bow fish and saw quite a few.  He got a kick out of it.

Only got a couple and missed a few more before he wanted to go home.  He'll be four in July.
While driving home, we saw a gobbler strutting in the back pasture where we live.  I dropped him off and threw on the camo and went after him.  It was 11:00am.  Called him in to 70yrds and he had a jake and 2 hens with him.  When he went over the hill, I put the sneak on him.

Way to go Brian....... You'll be eating fish steaks for sure.

I went out this morning for turkeys and had hens pitching out all around me, but no gobblers nearby.  Maybe better luck next time.

Commitment is like bacon & eggs; the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed....

Didn't see the big one when I went over the crest, but the jake with 4" beard was standing there with the hens.  My finger got an itch and the bird rolled at 40 yrds.  The big boy waddled off to my left.  He was in the shade 20yrds to the left. Sun was in my face.  Oh well he's still out there.
