I like to see guys makeing their own equipment.  When I started bowhunting Bow quivers were not very good in my opinion.

I had more than one of the old Bear bow quivers of the early 1970s'.  I respect and admire Fred Bear as much as anyone but those old quivers looked better than they functioned.  The rivets would get loose and the hoods would crack.  The rubber grippers were hard as a rock in the cold.  I spent alot of time and silicone trying to keep those quivers quiet and functional.

I bought quivers from other manufacturers and experienced the same functional and duribility issues.  I gave up on manufactured quivers along time ago.  I just buy the parts I like from quiver manufacturers and make my own like you.

Don't get me wrong, There are finaly some great quivers on the market.  I'm just to stubborn and enjoy building my own equipment too much to buy them.

It looks like you have a functional quiver and you made it yourself.  That's a satisfaction you can't buy.

A wheely bow shooter sees a new piece of equipment and immediately wants to know where to buy it, whereas a traditional shooter sees something new and wants to find out (or figure out) how to make it. Congratulatios Cody, you're now in that growing number of quiver manufacturers.

That's awesome! I've been waiting for someone to do this. I might have to try this.

How did you run the wire through the top portion of the quiver? Is there any thing you would do different?

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Looks good CR. LPM knows (bet we had the same quiver) if you rebuild enough stuff to work like you want it to you'll be richer for it. Hit those shiny bolts w/flat black.

Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!
