Gents,
Important update.I had been told that an Enhanced Drivers License (available only in a few states),Passport or Passport Card is needed for entrance back into US from Canada this year. This is FACT I just spoke to Vermont border and confirmed it as of JUNE 1st 2009' !!
Passport Card is $45.00 (not valid for interantional travel) and same procedure to get it as Passport. We need to get this done ASAP,including me.

P.S. Roster of BOTH weeks Bear Quest will be posted within a few days.

               Thanks

Do it now if you havent took me 7 weeks to get mine. I think you can get it done express but your gonna pay for it

Curveman

Yes, you can get it "express" but there is plenty of time to get one. Pictures for it can be taken at CVS, AAA etc. and I believe they have the applications there as well.  If you have renewed your license in MA recently they are the enhanced, but check with your MV board.

Just Tommy's posting about this trip is getting me excited! Can't wait!   :jumper:

FYI-You can also get a passport at the Post Office. It only took my wife 4-weeks last year about this time.

if you have or are getting a passport you can get the passcard for another 20 bucks. its the same size as a c-card and will always be in your wallet.

But as stated above the passcard can only be used at landborders if you go by plane or boat you need a passport for sure.

Don't sleep on the passports fellows...I stood in line at the post office behind people getting them for summer vacations. I also have a friend that works at the Govt Printing Office and they do these and the people that work there are planning vacations too...

Barry, you don't need a passport! Remember last year? The border guard knew who Barry was (I didn't      :D     ) and let us across without a question: "Barry Wensel?! Barry Wensel?! I know Barry Wensel! I'm a bowhunter too!" We need to keep all the illegal stuff in my truck!    :bigsmyl:
