I bareshafted Easton FMJ's 400's and with the 100 grain hit inserts and the 250grn field points they fly great out of my 60lb GN fireball.  I Have my grizzlies ready to go for deer season ,but decided to mess around with a 200 grain snuffer and see what type of flite I get.  I lose 50grns up front and even with that big wide 3 blades the arrow still groups with the fieldpoints.  Just wondering if anybody has some opinions

arrow tuned to the bow... This should be your low end, if you drop to a 190 grn point You should see it in flight. Now I may be wrong on this so not take it as law...

not worried I just thought it was interesting.

50 grains may not be enough to show up at short range. How far are you shooting?

Thoes shafts would be way weak for me with that much weight up front but I draw 29" and arrows usually wind up about 30.5 long. How long are your arrows and draw length?

I've also no experience with that bow.I can say for sure though that some longbows I've owned will shoot a wide range of point weight very well.

What is your Grizzlystik setup?? I have a GN fireball and it is 61@27. Still tinkering with the Grizzstiks. It currently likes Axis 500 w/100g brass insert and 125g head but I am looking for more weight. I have some 400 Axis so I will try your set p on those. Thanks

my 500's shoot well out of my bow with anywhere from 250-300g up front from 20 yards and under...anything past the differences show...best and most true flight is 275gr.
