been thinking of getting some cheep carbons. i have found the cx predator II. gold tip expedition hunter and the beman bowhunter. anyone have any coments on these shafts the beman bowhunter seems to be the cheepest

Easton excel's are cheap as well.I use them for my wheel bow.

I use the bemen hunters and the easton powerflight shafts for about all my sales in my bow shop. They seem to be a good reasonable priced shafts that are a good hunting shaft.

I see some guys now paying 100 a doz for shafts and can not find they shoot any better than the customers that are using the 40 dollar shafts...

they all break if you miss the target and hit a big rock ( the point gets pushed back into the shaft ) I leave the shaft a extra 1/2 long so if this occurs I can just cut  the broken piece off and install a new insert and point...

Try the gold tip blems. Shoot great and real tough.

What's your price range? for Cheap/Inexpensive shafts.

I used Excels on my last wheel bow as well.  

 Arrows making companies have a liability with their products and the last thing they want is a phone call saying a guy had to have his forearm surgically reconstructed...and he was using their arrows.  So "blemished" arrows are a steal in the bang-for-your-buck category.  They're not going to put out dangerous shafts.

The Trad world seems to be full of customer service that is second-to-none.  I ordered a dozen carbonwood "blem" shafts from Sipsey River.  Called on the phone and told John what my setup was since I was, and am, a complete newbie.

braveheart has the cx predators for cheap.  ibought a dozen and think they shoot good.

Another choice are the Gold Tip Exp Hunter shafts..  In 35/55, 55/75, they have been around for years. $50.00 a dozen.

i tried jims site and couldn't get the arrow page to load is it just me or is something wrong with that page

GT trad blemishes are hard shafts to beat for the $$$
