That's the problem, new computer, too many new photo programs, new formats, and no natural organizational skills. I am not linear in the least. New knowledge roils around and around until all the parts recognize one another and coalesce into a concept and a plan, somewhere in the back of my beady little brain.

It took me this long to get just ONE RAW-format image downloaded, resized, and saved as a jpeg and uploaded into Photobucket. I have very little concept of how and where it is stored, in all of its permutations, in my computer. And now it is almost ten, and I had hoped to be abed by nine...como siempre.

Here (hopefully) is a pic of the shelf side.

I need some water and some sleep.
I will work on the pics tomorrow....if I get back from the range in time!

Oh that bow is way to ugly to be carried around by such a good looking woman. Better send it to me ASAP! In my presences it would look sharp.
Very nice. I bet it's going to mean a lot to you knowing the history behind the wood you picked out.

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

I'm not a big carbon fan, not very pretty, but I bet that thing screams an arrow. That being said how does it shoot, was it worth the wait????

I shot all kinds of arrows, from breasted cedars to aluminums to tapered ash. Was the bow magic? Well, not in the floppy-eared warm-fuzzy Andy Griffith way that The Magic Bow grins and takes your hand.

More in the way that with a quiet "Thm", it teleports an arrow HARD into the backstop. She's a fireball, high strung and raring to go. She's a good bit like my dog, Spirit.

She takes a steady hand, and will fly off the handle if you get careless with her. I guess you can read behind the lines here, I was able to miss with this bow. She does not tolerate slop.

My 2013s were a litle flippy out of her. The ash was steady, but weak. The nice breasted cedars were too light in weight, the 2016s showed promise, especially when I put two into a baby poplar leaf at twenty yards.

So, maybe Ted has some 50-55 spined ash, maybe I have a dozen 2016 Autumn Oranges standing in a tube, meanwhile this bow will teach me how to hold my bow arm still and release as smoothly as water over a river rock.

I think Baltimore will be fun, carrying this firecracker!

Mike, it will NOT be carried around by some pretty woman. If I even catch one LOOKING at my bow, I'll let the dog loose on her.

Ron, I am not fond of carbon's looks either, but this carbon isn't as shiny as I feared it might be. I   am fond of the way that carbon maximizes the potential cast in a given draw weight. As I can handle only mid-forties if I am shooting a bunch of arrows, it is nice to get as much oomph as I can out of the weight. Push come to shove, I will take performance over looks, uh, up to a point. I am seriously considering some broad-banded water snake skins, though.

Long day, I think it is time for a toddy and relaxation. These new photo programs are driving me nuts.

now that's not such a bad thing is it?

and when it happens, that bow will put a smile on your face bigger than this  :saywhat:    "[dntthnk]"

Funny you should mention The Magic Bow, as my buddy was asking me the very same thing Thursday night. Only, he capitalized the title, The Magic Bow, as an indication of the respect, admiration, yea, even awe that he feels toward it. I may start entertaining offers.

Or not.
