Leo, you must have only seen the original pics at the beginning of this post. Look on down and you will see my "new and improved" version of the same saw but with the saw in a different position. Shouldn't be any problem with uneven cuts now.  

I like it, simple but will cut shafts with the best of them! Good job!

doug thats pretty cool. im still measuring each individual one with a tape measure and cuttin it on a chop saw. im such a nimrod
