Just 2 cents: I try to not buy anthing made anywhere where I'm likely to have to  be fighting them soon.  That pretty much limits me to Made in USA and a couple of other spots.

As for coveralls...Carhart, but you gotta read the tag pair by pair to make sure.

Bob, I just started a thread as you mentioned. I hate to buy an item thinking it's a domestic product and then find out it's a cheap imitation from an unfriendly country.

Last year I bought two hammocks that were advertised as being heavy duty. They were about half the weight of my Pawley Island hammock and now I have only about one half of one left.

A couple items I use on a regular basis: Kershaw knives and Trumark slingshots. Kershaw is having a couple models made under contract in China now, but the majority of their knives are still made in the USA. Trumark slingshots are still being made in Boulder, CO. USA.

Arrow Dynamics carbon arrows are produced in USA. The material, nocks, inserts, tooling and manufacturing, all done(proudly)in the good ole USA.

2 Fletch,,, what is the thread name???? I've been shooting axis and goldtips,,,, May have to change...

Bob, it's "Traditional Archery Products Made in the USA". If the list is long enough we might want to print it for future reference.

I ask Goldtip about their product and was told  that all of them were now being made in Mexico.

I go out of my way to buy American. I believe the the skills of the American worker, and the quality of American made goods is second to none. Usually I pay more for American made goods, that doesn't bother me, and I sleep real good at night!
I build American made goods, in a shop with American made tools, using 100% American raw materials, and seem to always carry at least a years worth of work in front of me. All this talk about foreign products being superior is merely the marketeers hawking their cheap products.

Good point Bayou!  We buy American too.  I also like to use local mom and pop buisnesses (sp?).
I  will buy foreign if the product is better.  Thanks for bringing this up.
