Jeff asked if there was any downside to them. He didn't ask if you liked them, if they were ugly...he obviously can see what they look like for himself.

Downside? I can't think of any problems with them Jeff. They do what they are suppose to do. Acsent the bow and hold the limbs on.

Please no need to apologize. I am not upset with anyone who thinks they are ugly or would not want them on there bows. This is America and everyone has a right to there opinion. It's just like someone might not like bamboo limbs and some might. It's not a big deal. Just posting pics to show off        <><

Those bolts that Frank posted are beautiful in my opinion, as are the two sets he and Shell made for me. I can understand why others may think the bulk or boldness of the bolts detracts from the lines of their bows, but it is difficult for me to understand how someone who appreciates wildlife and the outdoors could not appreciate the looks of the antler burrs or the craftsmanship that Frank and Shell put into these little works of art. I thank God that He made us all unique with different tastes so that we can have diversity in life and not be always battling to get the same scarce resources. If everyone liked the same bows, I wouldn't have been able to buy most of mine, and I'm sure someone else would have ended up with my wife besides me. I know there are plenty of us around who appreciate the beauty of these limb bolts without us having to be concerned that a some among us do not like them. There are some objects that people here on TG get that they love and are very proud to own, while I don't care for those objects and have no desire to own them myself. Nothing wrong with different tastes -- or as the song goes, "Different strokes for different folks."

sticshooter-- I would like to see the back side of those if you would, please.

The reason I ask,  I bought a used bow, it had them on and they were poorly made. The bolt that was used had rough edges that contacted the limbs, plus they were not perpendicular to the antler burr.

Sticshooter does them right. They are perpendicular to the antler burr, finished nicely around where they fit together and with them comes thin washers to help protect and align the design. You can't do better than what Sticshooter makes! 3 sets on 3 TDs

Thanks snag,  I am sure he does and I hope no one here thinks I was pointing fingers at sticshooter. I have no way of knowing who made the one that came with my used bow.

BTW. the ones sticshooter showed previously in theis thread are really nice looking.

Hey, I am an old "Mopar man" and Ive been told some people even like chevys. If you can beleive that. I have a set that Frank and Shell made for my SR Swift. If they dont snag things I would be surprised. About everything I carry into the woods snags things. But I do know they are to functional and beautiful to leave at home.

I know how much Frank likes BW bows and that is why I love to post this picture.. LOL

I have had this set Frank made for me about 3-4 years. I really like them and I think they make a good looking bow even better.... Really to me much better than a flat head screw.
